Jim Hall served as the President for Employee Benefit Services of ABD Insurance and Financial Services, Inc. Mr. Hall entered the group insurance business with the Equitable Life Insurance Company and spent six years in group sales and branch management with the Equitable. Prior to establishing HCM Benefits in Southern California, Mr. Hall was the Head of Cal-Surance Group Division (the forerunner of HCM Benefits), constituting 25 years with HCM/Cal-Surance. HCM Benefits worked exclusively on group welfare plans and was responsible for the design, implementation and servicing of over 300 health benefit programs. Mr. Hall merged HCM into ABD in October 1999. As an industry leader, he is called upon as a spokesperson on key employee benefit issues and on state and national health care reform. Mr. Hall serves on the Corporate Member Board of Blue Shield of California and on Aetna’s National Broker Advisory Council. Mr. Hall serves on the Advisory Boards of the Susquehanna Business School and City National Bank and has served as a Trustee for the Little Company of Mary Hospital Foundation and the Peninsula Education Foundation. He is a founding member of the National Benefits Council and has been a member of The Executive Committee, an international organization of CEOs. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Torrance Chamber of Commerce and an Honorary and Charter member of the South Bay Rotary Club. Mr. Hall graduated from Susquehanna University in 1968.
