Joe joined the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation in September 2022. Previously, he worked in professional baseball with the Baltimore Orioles, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Cincinnati Reds. Joe graduated from the University of Maryland where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a minor in History in 2019. As a student, he developed an interest in helping individuals in need through physical activity including those in underserved communities and those with disabilities. Joe worked for League of Dreams, a nonprofit dedicated to providing opportunities to play baseball for individuals with disabilities, and a partner of the Ripken Foundation. Joe is highly motivated and excited to work with underserved youth of all ability levels throughout the country.
