On Tuesday, May 28, the ribbon was cut on the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation's 84th Youth Development Park, Read-Dunning Park, in Chicago. This Youth Development Park is a 113,136 square-foot multipurpose youth sports facility that will now serve as the home field for several Chicago schools, the Chicago Cubs RBI programs, and other community leagues. Read-Dunning Park will nurture urban youth, give them an outlet to experience sports in a safe, healthy, educational way, and enrich the community while inspiring pride and hope along the way.
Thanks to our partners including Group1001, Chicago Park District, Chicago Public Schools, and Chicago Cubs Charities for helping us make this park possible.
