National Mentoring Month

Jan 08, 2019

Did you know that with a mentor, at-risk youth are 55% more likely to enroll in college and 78% more likely to volunteer in their communities? At the core of Ripken Foundation youth development programs are compassionate adults from youth-serving organizations and law enforcement agencies that mentor youth and harness their energy in positive directions. We provide the resources, on-going training, and materials to run an instructive program while youth connect with caring adult mentors at local youth-serving organizations.

Together, the Ripken Foundation, our local youth partners, and law enforcement mentors aim to give at-risk youth a positive, healthy outlet after school to learn important life skills that will propel them to a better future.
