New Youth Development Park in Pittsburgh with Hall of Famer and Gala Honoree Curtis Martin

Feb 12, 2019

The Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation announced in September one of its new Youth Development Park projects in partnerships with Group1001 and the City of Pittsburgh. This new park will be in Pittsburgh’s Homewood neighborhood and will be built in honor of Hall of Famer and Aspire Gala honoree Curtis Martin.

Our Youth Development Parks give over 500,000 kids in the U.S. access to a clean, safe place to play, learn, and grow after school and over the summer under the supervision of caring adult mentors. We have built 82 Youth Development Parks, including 16 Adaptive Fields for children with disabilities, in 22 states and Washington, D.C.
