Over the weekend, thanks to the Naples Children and Education Foundation, we hosted our annual baseball camp in Naples, FL, where kids of all abilities were able to have fun and learn lifelong lessons they can take from the field and beyond.
Friday, November 15, we kicked off the fun-filled weekend with an adaptive baseball clinic at the Greater Naples YMCA with our local partners at the Able Academy and the Naples Children and Education Foundation. Kids were able to connect with adult mentors and engage in a fun day of team sports.
Friday was just the beginning of this action-packed weekend. On Saturday and Sunday, November 16 and 17, kids arrived at Baker Field, our Youth Development Park at the Boys and Girls Club of Collier County, and at a recreation field at Florida Gulf Coast University for a day of fun and baseball. Our kids from the Boys and Girls Club of Collier County, Great Programs Synergizing, Grace Place for Children and Families, Gargiulo Education Centers, Valerie’s House, and Sports Club joined us in the activities. We thank our local partners for ensuring our kids had a multitude of coaches and mentors cheering them on throughout the day at each station and game.
This was another great year for our Naples, FL program participants thanks to the generosity and support of the Naples Children and Education Foundation.
