Mark Butler is one of the founding fathers of Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, which started business in 1982 in Harrisburg, PA. Mark’s entire career has been spent building one of the most exciting retail companies in America which focuses on name brand closeouts at drastically reduced prices. Since being named President and CEO of Ollie’s in 2003, the company has grown from 27 stores to more than 170 stores operating in 16 states and employing more than 4,200 associates. Mark is also an owner of the Harrisburg Senators Baseball Club, an Eastern League AA affiliate of the Washington Nationals.
Mark was named an Ernst & Young “Entrepreneur of the Year” finalist for the Greater Philadelphia region in both 2005 and 2014. He resides in Carlisle, PA with his wife Betty. They have three children and two grandchildren.
