Rosa joined the Foundation in February 2023 as the Senior Director of STEM. Prior to this she worked at Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY), managing the successful run of summer programs for academically talented students from around the world. In her 15 years at CTY, Rosa managed programs across the country, in Mexico, and online; as chair of the science committee, she worked most closely with the STEM courses, overseeing curricular work, and hiring instructional staff. Rosa has also previously worked with the after-school organization Citizen Schools where she oversaw and ran programming for youth in Boston city public schools. Rosa’s undergraduate degree is from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where she studied Planetary Astronomy. She received a masters of Education with a specialization in Out of School Time and Leadership from Lesley University.
