#CRSFcamp is back in session

Aug 20, 2014

It's the second to last week of summer and the second to last #CRSFcamp of the season! On Monday, more than 200 kids joined us from across the country. They came by plane (thank you, Southwest Airlines), by bus, and by car. Thanks to the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation's generous supporters, we outfitted them with Under Armour uniforms, Marucci backpacks, and gear from Rawlings. Helping us check in campers and hand out gear were members of the Maryland National Guard Counterdrug Task Force and AmeriCorps NCCC.

Afternoons back at our overnight camp facility are filled with other fun games:

And we even found time to answer the #IceBucketChallenge for an uncommon inspiration. OJ Brigance and the Brigance Brigade—this one's for you!

We refueled:

Coach Brooke showed campers the power of Mind over Matter:

Then time for bed and now we're on to Day 2!
