This is the last week of #CRSFcamp this summer! The Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation welcomed more than 100 kids to camp from our Badges for Baseball sites and program partners from California, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, and Wisconsin for one last hurrah before everybody heads back to school!
They came in on Monday, many flying in with some help from our friends at Southwest Airlines. When they arrived at camp, they were outfitted with gear from Under Armour, Marucci, and Rawlings. Plus, Walmart helped us make sure that our campers had any linens or toiletries they might need, in addition to making sure we had snacks, bottled water, sunscreen, and bug spray for everyone!
All week, we have with us our Badges for Baseball partners who have been coaches on the field and also brought in exciting demonstrations for our kids. Thanks to the US Marshals Service, Maryland National Guard, Montgomery County Police Department, Maryland State Police, Cecil County Sheriff's Office, Harford County Sheriff's Office, Anne Arundel County Police Department, Baltimore County Police Department, and Fairfax County Police Department.
