As we wind down 2015, it’s easy to get caught up in meeting year-end deadlines or getting ready for the holidays. People are making plans and goals and resolutions for 2016. (We are, too!) But I ask that you--sometime in the next couple of weeks, if another request is making you stressed!--take a few moments to reflect on this past year, to rewind and find one thing you’re proudest of for each month of 2015. Maybe they’re all related; maybe they’re all different. It could be an everyday moment of how you handled a situation or an achievement you’ve been working towards for a long time. Some may be related to your work in the community serving kids, while others may be personal victories.
The Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation will be taking a break to reflect, unwind, and get roaring to go for 2016. Together with partners like you, we did good this year. Let’s do even better next year.
Until then, we wish you and yours a warm and joyous holiday season and a happy, healthy new year! See you in 2016!
