Hey Dad: Father’s Day Contest

Jun 17, 2016

At our Aspire Gala this past February, we were joined by Matt Stillwell for a special performance of his song, “Hey Dad.”  Here is a video of his performance at the 2016 Aspire Gala, paired with a slideshow of Cal, Sr. and the Ripken family:

Father’s Day is coming up this Sunday and we’ll be celebrating our dads and the people who are like dads to us.  So we thought we’d have a little contest incorporating the “Celebrate the Individual” tenet of “The Ripken Way.”

To be eligible: You MUST be registered on the CRSF Portal (click here to create your CRSFPortal.org account first if you don’t already have one).  To make sure you are logged into your account before commenting, you can look in the top left corner of this page.  If you are logged in, it will say “My Profile” and if you are not, it will say “Login.”  You can login using a new tab/window, then refresh this blog post page.

To enter: Share something about your dad (or someone like a dad to you) by commenting on this blog post while logged into your CRSF Portal account.  It can be something that you admire about him, that you learned from him, or that makes him unique.  Post your comment by 11:59 p.m. ET on Sunday, 6/19/2016, and you will be entered into a drawing to win two (2) CDs of Matt Stillwell’s “Hey Dad” (one for you and one for your dad!).  While you can comment as much as you’d like, you will only be entered once.  Winner will be notified by 6/21/2016 via the e-mail address connected to his/her CRSF Portal account.

Thank you in advance for sharing.  Happy Father’s Day to everyone who is “dad” to someone!
