This morning my supervisor, Bobby McCaffrey, came to me with an idea: “I’m going to write a blog post for our new online portal.” However, before he could create one, he had to figure out exactly what a blog was. A few months ago we went through this same situation with Twitter. There were a lot of questions, head scratches, and tears, but in the end we were able finally explain the concept to him.
My guess is after a few unsuccessful trips to Google, he was forced to come over to my desk and ask me. This is generally how it works when it comes to anything related to technology. His skills can’t be matched when it comes to on-field instruction, but you put a computer in front of him and he panics.
However, I am happy to report that we have successfully explained the concept of a blog to him and you are all in for an entertaining ride. Enjoy!
