Welcome to the team, Shaquilla!

Oct 21, 2016

We have been fortunate to add to our program team again.  The CRSF family is growing!  Please meet our newest program coordinator Shaquilla Curtis.  Let’s hear from her…

Hello everyone! My name is Shaquilla Curtis and I am the newest member of the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation team. I am one of many outstanding program coordinators at the Foundation. Just a few things about me, I was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. I spent my first year in college at Independence CC in Independence, Kansas. I transferred to American University in Washington, DC and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in sociology and a minor in health promotion.  Throughout my collegiate career, I played on both women’s basketball teams at Independence and AU. After I graduated and completed three years of playing in the NCAA Division I setting, I knew I wanted to work in an athletic environment and to help children. Prior joining CRSF, I worked for the Baltimore Orioles and ESF Camp. Based off my experiences, I am thankful for CRSF to give me this amazing and exciting opportunity. I’m looking forward to helping CRSF to continue to grow and achieve many goals.
