Everett Community College's Student Life Committee and the Ripken Foundation hosted a College Day Experience at Everett Community College for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Snohomish County. Over 100 kids in attendance were treated to a guided tour of the campus and a Q&A panel consisting of student athletes and Student Life members. After the panel was the kids' favorite part of the day, dinner in the cafeteria. The kids finished off the day by watching the Trojans volleyball match against Bellevue College. Trips like these help to excite young people about the prospects of going to college. Giving them firsthand experience exposes the kids to all higher education has to offer.
