NCEF Donates Ripken Foundation's At-Home STEM Kits to Youth of Collier County

May 26, 2020

On May 23, 2020, the Ripken Foundation partnered with the Naples Children & Education Foundation (NCEF) to distribute 656 At-Home Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) packages and 180 fitness packages to children of the Boys & Girls Club of Collier County’s Bolch Campus in Immokalee, FL. The goal of distributing these at-home resources is to continue the remote education of the youth we serve during the COVID-19 pandemic. This initiative will also provide At-Home STEM Kits and fitness equipment to the youth of the Boys & Girls Club of Collier County’s Nichols Campus in East Naples, the Gargiulo Education Center, Grace Place for Children and Families, NCEF’s Out-of-School Time Initiative, RCMA, and Valerie’s House. We will continue to partner with our youth-serving organizations for the duration of the pandemic to fulfill our mission to help our youth continue to learn and grow.
