At the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation, we are deeply committed to creating safe spaces where underserved children can thrive within their communities and build a path to future success. Through our partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Frederick County, we are proud to bring this mission to life with our Badges for Baseball program, as we mark hosting our third annual Badges for Baseball Camp.
Held at Nymeo Field at Harry Grove Stadium, the camp welcomed over 80 youth from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Frederick County for a full-day event to strengthen skills in leadership development, team building, and cultivating meaningful connections within the community. With a range of engaging activities, including baseball/softball stations and games led by mentors from law enforcement agencies, at-risk youth had the opportunity to build trust with local law enforcement officers while gaining life lessons and creating memorable experiences.
