Another great partnership that has helped us reach over 1.2 million at-risk youth each year is the Ripken Foundation’s partnership with Naples Children & Education Foundation, which started in July of 2012. NCEF allows us to fund youth programs in and around the Naples, Florida area. Their support helps us to engage with youth and encourage kids in our programs to make healthy choices and succeed in life. They support our youth development programs, including: College Day Experiences, At-Home STEM and fitness kits, STEM Centers, NCEF Camp and send youth to our Ripken Summer Camp. The Ripken Foundation always looks forward to the Naples Camp, which mirrors the same experience as the Ripken Summer Camp and provides a sense of excitement in our afterschool programs.
NCEF will be hosting their Naples Winter Wine Festival, which since its inception in 2001, has raised over $212 million for children in need. A televised fundraising event will be held on Saturday, January 30th at 7 p.m. followed by a virtual auction at 8 p.m. To find out more click here!
