Recognizing that background checks can be cost prohibitive, the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation has partnered with First Advantage to ensure that our partners and affiliates have the ability to access comprehensive background checks at an affordable price.
Organizations have two choices on how to run background checks:
Register as a Program Partner: Organizations can set up an account for a one-time $50.00 fee. Through this account, you can run as many background checks as needed, at a cost of $12.45 each. Your organization will receive an invoice for any checks that are ordered and completed. In addition you will have the ability to identify an administrator who will have access to view completed, detailed reports on anyone for whom you have requested a background check.
Register as an Individual: Individuals can order and pay for their own background check at a cost of $12.45. Individuals who register will have access to their complete background check and will have the option to print and provide it to anyone who has requested the information.
The price for the comprehensive check is $12.45 per person and includes the following:
- Social Security Number Verification
- Felony and Misdemeanor Screen
- Sex Offender Screen – State
- National Criminal File Screen
*The Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation is not responsible for processing background checks or making fitness determinations. All decisions on whether or not to work with an individual based on their background check is the responsibility of the submitting agency.
