Ripken Playbook Live Engages Youth at Home

Despite the temporary closure of many of our youth-serving organization partners, we have not stopped impacting kids with our character building programs and connecting them with positive adult mentors during these days in lockdown. Badges for Baseball -- our signature, juvenile crime prevention program which uses sports to pair at-risk youth with local law enforcement mentors --  has been adapted to these virtual times. An extension of our Ripken Playbook initiative, these weekly, virtual, live events serve as an extension of our Badges for Baseball program. Using video call, adult mentors are able to still connect with our youth and let them continue learning and staying active.
