The Ripken Foundation’s latest Ripken Playbook Live virtual event featured the Travis Manion Foundation. Their mission is to create a nation of purpose-driven individuals and thriving communities that are built on character. The Ripken Live focused on four different character traits, relationship building, fairness, self-regulation, and perspective. Youth who participated had the opportunity to interact with veterans from across the country and learn about different character-building techniques. This Ripken Playbook Live event is part of the Foundation’s continuing initiative to adapt our in-person programming to engage and mentor our youth virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic.
