This year we will celebrate our 16th Annual Aspire Gala which benefits our work with at-risk youth across the country. The Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation's Aspire Gala honors leaders from the fields of sports, entertainment, and business. This year's auspicious Aspire Gala continues a tradition of honoring those who are truly making a difference in the lives of others. The evening includes a lively cocktail reception, silent auction, dinner, program, and special musical performance. This year, we will honor Annika Sorenstam, World Golf Hall of Fame Member and 10-time Major Champion; Rob Jones, United States Marine & Paralympic Athlete; and Tony La Russa, Baseball Hall of Fame Manager, for excellence in their fields, dedication to helping others, and for being a coach in life to so many both on and off the field. We will also have a musical performance planned by LOVERBOY. All event proceeds further the mission of the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation and our work with at-risk youth across the country.

The Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, working throughout the country with community-based youth organizations to serve at-risk young people and build Youth Developments Parks in America's most distressed communities. Founded in 2001, the Foundation is led by former Major League Baseball players, Cal Ripken, Jr. and Bill Ripken, and was named in memory of their father, Cal, Sr. The life lessons of leadership, teamwork, sportsmanship, personal responsibility, and a strong work ethic are keys to success for all young people, especially those living in disadvantaged circumstances.
